During our participation in the INNOV’up Proto Contest 2016, financed by the Ile-de-France region, Orosound was awarded in the category “Intelligence of Connected Objects.”
Since 2008, the Île-de-France region has launched eight calls for projects to realize technological prototypes and test them at the Futur en Seine international digital festival. For its 2016 edition, INNOV’up Proto has chosen two current topics: 3D printing and the intelligence of connected objects.
Orosound was rewarded in the second category of the contest. Tilde wireless earphones with intelligent noise management, have been analyzed by a jury chaired by the Ile-de-France Region, the competitiveness clusters involved, and a panel of independent experts. Our project was submitted to a vote by the elected regional representatives in the standing Committee. Tilde earphones had to meet more than a dozen evaluation criteria, including the innovative nature of the project, the constraints of installation or use, and the positive impact on employment.
Being a laureate, INNOV’up Proto Contest represents a great opportunity for Orosound. The R&D of a new innovative feature of our earphones is now supported by the Île-de-France region. The production of our prototypes will be fully funded and we will present them at the biggest European event of innovation: the Futur en Seine festival.
