TILDE PRO user guide

Prerequisite

TILDE® PRO headphones’ design is customizable. It is important to check that the earpads and boom-microphone are set up in the right way before use, to ensure the best listening comfort, and to optimize the headphones’ performance during calls.

Set up the earpads

To place an earpad, align the colored arrows, insert the earpad and screw it in place firmly, clockwise. The green arrow corresponds to the right side of the headphones. The red one, the left side.

Interlock security: your headset refuses to turn on. One of the earpads LED light blinks red for 4 seconds when you press the ON/OFF button? Tighten the pad to deactivate the safety. Consult the video tutorial.

Adjusting the boom-mic

To fix the boom-microphone, press on the edge of the “OROSOUND” removable cover to take it off, then magnetise the boom-mic in its stead. Bend the perch so that the wind screen is in front of your lips.

System

Booting up

• Start the headset: hard press (0.5 sec) one the ON/OFF button
• Turn off the headset: hard press (0.5 sec) one the ON/OFF button

Good to know: your headphones are charged but won’t turn on? Click the ON/OFF button. If one of the earpad LED light blinks red for 4 seconds, you must re-tighten the pad on the indicated side to deactivate the interlock safety.

Battery and recharge

• Recharge the headset wih the USB-C cable
• Get notified on the battery’s level (%): double click on the ON/OFF button

The discreet LED light placed on the ON/OFF button provides useful information on the headphone’s activity, as well as its battery level.

Bluetooth connection

TILDE® PRO headphones are usable through Bluetooth with all types of devices: smartphone, digital tablet, computer, as well as all operating systems: Mac, Windows, iOS, Android….

First Bluetooth connection: make a long press (3 sec) on the ON/OFF button. The LED will light up blue. Go to the Bluetooth settings of your device, click on «TildePro XX:XX».

Good to know: forgetting the devices previously connected. To reset the Bluetooth, press on the buttons « play » and « minus » simultaneously for 3 seconds. A notification sound will confirm the reboot.

Wired connection

If you do not wish to use Bluetooth pairing, you can connect TILDE® PRO with the USB-C cable included in the accessories. TILDE® PRO headphones can be connected with all types of devices: smartphone, digital tablet, computer, as well as all operating systems: Mac, Windows, iOS, Android….

Useful information: it is also possible to connect TILDE® PRO with Jack and RJ9. The purchase of Jack and RJ9 cables compatible with TILDE® is optional. For any inquiry, please contact our commercial service.

Telephony and communication

With 10 microphones and the selective noise-cancellation technology TILDE® VOICE FIRST, TILDE® PRO are the best headphones to clearly communicate face-to-face, on the phone, and with connected objects.

Telephony

TILDE® PRO headphones can be used with or without the detachable boom-microphone for telephony or videoconferencing. Connection to the boom-mic is automatic when placed on the headphones. It is possible to go from handsfree kit to HD telephony during a call, without any interruption.

• Pick up / hang up: short press / long press ont the TILDE® VOICE FIRST button
• Quick mute with the boom-mic: short press on the « mute » button
• Mute without the boom-mic: long press on the « minus » button

Useful information: TILDE® PRO is compatible with all major videoconferencing applications (Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, etc.) and softphony (Alcatel Lucent IP softphone, Cisco Jabber, etc.). Consult the audio setup guide.

Aware+ mode

TILDE® VOICE FIRST button is the guarantee to clearly communicate no matter the ambient noise: 

• Start / finish a face-to-face talk: short press on the TILDE® VOICE FIRST button

Surrounding management

TILDE® PRO allows you to finely adjust the degree from which you want to isolate yourself from your surroundings, or perceive it. The wheel on the right side of the headphones is useful to activate or deactivate noise reduction, and to adjust its intensity.

Active Noise-Cancelling (ANC)

Push the wheel downwards to isolate yourself from your surroundings:

• Maximum isolation: keep the wheel pushed down
• Progressive isolation: push down and release until you find to the desired intensity
• Activate/deactivate the ANC : short press on the wheel

Aware Mode

Push the wheel upwards to perceive your surroundings:

• Maximum awareness: keep the wheel pushed up
• Progressive awareness: push up and release until you find to the desired intensity
• Activate/deactivate the ANC : short press on the wheel

Media management

Once TILDE® PRO is connected to your devices, you can control your media directly on the left pad of the headphones:  increase or decrease the sound volume, skip to the next track or return to the previous one, enter “silence” mode during phone calls…

Volume management

• Increase the volume: short press on the (+) button
• Decrease the volume: short press on the (-) button
• Silence mode (telephony) : long press on the (-) button

Music management

• Play/pause : short press on the play (>||) button
• Next track: long press on the (+) button
• Previous track: long press on the (-) button
