Quick Start
Make sure you always have the latest software version for the Tilde® Evo headset to access all features and improvements. To update your headset with just one click, download the free Orosound Link app.
Headset Control
No matter which design you choose, Tilde Evo S (on-ear) or Tilde Evo C (over-ear), you will enjoy the same control directly from the headset buttons.
System
Power On/Off
To turn the Tilde® Evo on or off, use the on/off button located on the ear pad with the boom mic :
- Start the headset: short press
- Turn off the headset: short press
Battery and charging
Battery life/charging
The Tilde® Evo headset includes a 1000 mAh battery, offering a full day of continuous use with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) enabled. To check the battery level, double-click the on/off button to trigger an audible notification indicating the battery percentage
- Charging the headset: use the provided USB-C cable or the optional charging station.
- A full charge takes 90 minutes
- The Tilde® Evo headset can be used while charging
LED Status Lights
The round LED color light next to the on/off button indicates the battery level. If the headset is charging, the LED will blink to signal the charging status.
Connection
Native Bluetooth
The Tilde® Evo headset features Bluetooth 5.4, allowing wireless connection to various devices (smartphone, tablet, computer…), and is compatible with all operating systems (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android…). You can connect to two devices simultaneously and store up to 10 devices in the headset. This enables automatic pairing as soon as the device is detected.
New Pairing
For the first connection of a device to your headset, initial pairing is required.
- Hold down the on/off button until the LED light next to it flashes blue.
- Go to your device’s Bluetooth settings.
- Click on ‘Tilde Evo XXXX’
- An audible notification will confirm the pairing success.
After the initial pairing, your device will automatically connect to the headset or be listed among your preferred Bluetooth devices.
To ensure easy daily use, make sure the audio configuration is saved as the default Bluetooth setting. In your computer’s audio settings, select “Tilde Evo XXXX” as the input and output audio device.
Bluetooth & Dongle Reset
The Bluetooth and Dongle reset erases all previously connected devices from your headset. To do this, press and hold the “on/off” and “NC” buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. An audible notification will confirm the reset.
Bluetooth Dongle
A Bluetooth dongle is a small USB stick-shaped adapter. It ensures a stable and high-performance Bluetooth connection for computers that have variable performance with their built-in Bluetooth chip. A pre-paired USB-C Bluetooth dongle is included with the Tilde® Evo headset.
Pre-Paired Dongle
The Bluetooth dongle included with the Tilde® Evo headset is pre-paired by default with the headset contained in the same box, avoiding the need for initial pairing. To connect your Tilde® Evo headset:
- Insert the dongle into your computer’s USB-C port.
- The connection between the dongle and the headset will be made automatically.
Pairing a New Dongle
If you have a dongle that is not pre-paired with your headset, initial pairing is required:
- Plug the dongle into your computer’s USB port and launch the Orosound Link application.
- Turn on and connect your Tilde® headset to your computer using the USB cable.
- In the Orosound Link application, go to: Link > Dongle.
- Activate the Bluetooth on your headset by holding the on/off button until the LED flashes blue.
- In the application, select the name of your headset “Tilde Evo XXXX” and click on “Pair Dongle.”
An audible notification will confirm the successful pairing. Once the initial pairing is completed, you only need to insert the Bluetooth dongle into your computer’s USB port for your Tilde® headset to connect.
To ensure easy daily use, make sure the audio configuration is saved as the default setting for the dongle. In your computer’s audio settings, select “Tilde Evo Dongle” as the input and output audio device.
Wired USB Connection
The Tilde® Evo headset comes with a USB-C cable for a wired connection to any device (smartphone, tablet, computer…) with a USB-C port, and it is compatible with all operating systems (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android…). To connect your Tilde® Evo headset to your device, plug the USB cable into the USB ports of both devices.

Compatibilities
The Tilde® Evo headset is suitable for telephony use with softphones or videoconferencing applications. It is compatible with all major applications on all operating systems (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android…).
“Gooseneck” Boom-Mic
Boom Mic Right/Left Handed Design
Choose to use the boom mic on the right or left side with the 270° rotation of the microphone. The headset’s audio settings intelligently adjust based on how the headset is worn, accommodating both right- and left-handed users.
Adjusting the Gooseneck Boom Mic
The Tilde® Evo range features Gooseneck technology, providing exceptional flexibility to the boom mic, looking like the flexibility of a goose’s neck. Use this innovative design to bend and perfectly position the boom mic in front of your mouth, ensuring the highest precision of words and voice capture.
Call Controls
Call Management
- Answer a call: short press the [Tilde] button
- End a call: long press the [Tilde] button
Mute Mode
- Activate mute during a call: short press the boom mic button
- Activate mute during a call: lift the boom mic
Audio Volume
- Increase volume: short press / long press the [+] button
- Decrease volume: short press / long press the [-] button
Surrounding Management
Active Noise Cancellation with Transparency
The Tilde® Evo headsets offer noise reduction of over 30 decibels with hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC or NC) technology. The Aware mode provides natural transparency, accurately reproducing the user’s voice and external sounds as if not wearing the headset.
To switch between available noise control modes, short press the [NC] button:
- Active noise cancellation: you are isolated from disturbing noises.
- Aware mode (transparency): you hear your surroundings as if not wearing the headset.
- Active Noise Cancellation off : no noise control applied.
F2F Conversation (Face-to-face)
The patented F2F feature by Orosound allows quick face-to-face exchanges while keeping the headset on, offering a natural conversation while reducing background noise.
When F2F mode is activated, active features such as music or noise cancellation are paused to allow the conversation. They automatically come back when you exit F2F mode. To activate or deactivate F2F mode:
- Start a F2F conversation: short press the [Tilde] button
- End a F2F conversation: short press the [Tilde] button
Note: The F2F conversation feature is not available during an ongoing phone call. The [Tilde] button is then dedicated to managing phone calls (answer/hang up).

Maintenance
Software Update
To fully enjoy all features and improvements of your Tilde® Evo headset, always ensure you have the latest software version. To quickly update your headset, download the free Orosound Link application.
Bluetooth Reset
A Bluetooth reset erases all previously connected devices from your headset. To do this, press and hold the “on/off” and “NC” buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. An audible notification will confirm the reset.
Changing Ear Cushions
By default, Tilde® Evo S headsets come with on-ear cushions, and Tilde® Evo C headsets come with over-ear cushions. You can replace them with the same format cushions, but not with other type. These ear cushions are also sold separately.
To properly install an ear cushion, position it and press firmly until a “click” is heard, confirming its secure attachment.
