In May 2017, the French state-owned company, La Poste Group, launched the third edition of its IoT contest. This year, 15 startups were selected by La Poste and its partners in the categories smart home/city, health, well-being at work and city mobility to follow an intensive acceleration program.

La Poste Group launched the French IoT program in May 2015. This acceleration program gathers startups, big corporations and IoT experts in order to boost the growth of French Open Innovation. The third edition of the program focuses on smart home & city, health, well-being at work and city mobility. In 2017, more than 245 startups applied to the contest to join the program. Atmotrack, Qarnot Computing, Ai.mergence, Eïsox, Diabeloop, Medicus, Apitrak, Idelab, ACloud, Kiplin, Wavely, Novyspec, Bik’Box, Wink and Orosound stood out from the other applicants thanks to their unique innovation, economic model and team expertise.

Orosound was rewarded in the well-being at work category sponsored by the health insurance company Malakoff-Médéric. The jury was convinced by “the patented noise-filtering technology and the expertise of the team in charge of developing and commercializing Tilde earphones.” Thereby, Orosound joins the acceleration program along with 14 other startups. They all get an individual support during a Boot Camp and a free access to La Poste’s digital Hub. The winners will also exhibit at CES 2018 in Las Vegas with French IoT and run a pilot with one of the co-sponsors of the program.
