L\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, Orosound faisait partie des cinq start-up laur\u00e9ates du concours<\/a> organis\u00e9 par Avnet Silica et Usine IO. Cette ann\u00e9e, nous \u00e9tions heureux de participer \u00e0\u00a0Connecting the World 2016, \u00e9v\u00e9nement d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Internet des Objets (IoT), en tant qu\u2019invit\u00e9 d\u2019honneur\u00a0!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pierre Guiu, Pr\u00e9sident d\u2019Orosound, a \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9 pour pr\u00e9senter l\u2019\u00e9volution de la start-up depuis un an. Entre le d\u00e9p\u00f4t de nos brevets, la cr\u00e9ation du design, l\u2019embauche de 7 personnes ou encore l\u2019assemblage et le test de nos prototypes, il y avait beaucoup \u00e0 partager. Bien s\u00fbr, la pr\u00e9sentation n\u2019aurait pas \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e8te sans \u00e9voquer notre strat\u00e9gie de d\u00e9veloppement pour les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir. Nous avons bien l\u2019intention de continuer \u00e0 \u00e9voluer, \u00e0 innover et \u00e0 partager des moments privil\u00e9gi\u00e9s avec tous ceux qui soutiennent notre projet.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir r\u00e9pondu aux questions des participants sur les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices du concours tir\u00e9s par Orosound, Pierre a pass\u00e9 le micro aux cinq startups laur\u00e9ates de Connecting the World 2016. Le jury nous a concoct\u00e9 une belle surprise avec une s\u00e9lection de projets de qualit\u00e9, tr\u00e8s vari\u00e9s et (\u00e9videmment) tous connect\u00e9s. Nous avons particuli\u00e8rement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 les pitchs de ces startups innovantes\u00a0: Ezy Gain, Morphee, InVino et ShapeHeart. Toutes nos f\u00e9licitations au gagnant de cette ann\u00e9e, Emy\u00a0!<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement IOT organis\u00e9 par Avnet et Usine IO<\/a> s\u2019est cl\u00f4tur\u00e9 par un cocktail aux produits \u00ab\u00a0100% du Nord\u00a0\u00bb, afin d\u2019\u00e9changer sur cet \u00e9co-syst\u00e8me innovant et de networker avec ses acteurs incontournables.<\/p>\n

Last year, Orosound was a finalist in Silica\u2019s Connecting the World 2015 competition, an annual contest that honors French startups\u2019 best innovations in the Internet of Things (IoT). This year, we were thrilled to be invited back again as a special guest.<\/strong><\/p>

Our CEO Pierre Guiu was asked to give a talk about Orosound\u2019s development over the past year. And it\u2019s true: so much has happened! He discussed hiring seven new people, finalizing our product design, filing the French and international patents for Orosound technology, testing and prototyping, and growing our community. Of course, the speech wouldn\u2019t have been complete without talking strategy and plans for the future, too. Our company has evolved, and we plan to continue innovating, growing, and connecting with people who are passionate about what we do.<\/p>

Like last year, we were wowed by the projects we learned about over the course of the day. The judges chose startups contributing to the Internet of Things in very different ways: we heard talks in the afternoon from the four finalists, Ezy Gain, Morphee, Vino Veritas, and Shape Heart, and from Emy, this year\u2019s winner.<\/p>

At the end of the day, we all got to mingle over cocktails and hors d\u2019oeuvres. All of us had a great time and were so glad to be there. Our congratulations to all for the exciting innovations and an inspiring event!<\/p>
